THE MARCHING BAND, MADE UP OF 55 MUSICIANS, 10 COLOR GUARD, AND 2 DRUM MAJORS, SPENT TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR LEARNING MARCHING FUNDAMENTAL AND MUSIC FOR THE 2023 MARCHING SEASON. THE BAND PERFORMED AT HOME AND AWAY FOOTBALL GAMES. THEY MARCHED IN THE ANNUAL HOMECOMING PARADE AS WELL AS THE CHRISTMAS PARADE. THEY ALSO PARTICIPATED IN FIVE MARCHING BAND CONTESTS, INCLUDING THE STATE DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIP. THE CONCERT BAND, COMPRISED OF 50 STUDENTS PERFORMED AT THE VETERANS DAY CONCERT, A WINTER CONCERT, A SPRING CONCERT, AND A COMMUNITY CONCERT THAT INCLUDED ALL WHITE HOUSE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL BAND STUDENTS AS WELL AS SEVERAL ALUMNI. ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENT INVOLVEMENT INCLUDED JAZZ ENSEMBLE AND A PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE THAT DEBUTED IN OUR SPRING CONCERT.
