KY CENTER FOR SCHOOL SAFETYS SCHOOL ASSESSMENTS PROVIDES A SCHOOL WITH AN INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF THE SCHOOL'S CLIMATE AND CULTURE AS IT RELATES TO ENHANCING THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. THIS ASSESSMENT PROCESS ALSO PROVIDES THE SCHOOL WITH A NEEDS ASSESSMENT THAT CAN BE USED IN DEVELOPING THE SCHOOL SAFETY COMPONENT OF THE SCHOOL'S COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN.
AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS NOMINATED BY KENTUCKY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS UNDER THE FIRST DEGREE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
