MISSIO INTERNATIONAL INC (MISSIO), IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ORGANIZED IN 1994 TO BUILD THE CAPACITY OF MISSIO LINK INTERNATIONAL (MLI) IN THEIR EFFORTS TO MEET THE MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN ROMANIA. AS A GATEWAY, OUR MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST BY BRINGING THE GOSPEL MESSAGE AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO AT-RISK POPULATIONS, ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

EFFORTS TO MEET THE MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN ROMANIA ESPECIALLY FOR AT-RISK PERSONS INCLUDING CHILDREN. SOME CHILDREN AT RISK MINISTRIES PROVIDED BY MISSIO ARE LISTED BELOW:DEBORAH HOUSE CENTER- TWO SAFE HOMES FOR GIRLS RESCUED FROM TRAFFICKING AND ABUSE; ASPIRATIONS- TRANSITION PROGRAM FOR OLDER GIRLS FROM DEBORAH HOUSE TO INDEPENDENT ADULT LIVING; BACK TO SCHOOL - TRAFFICKING, CHILD LABOR ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM TO KEEP MARGINALIZED (MAJORITY ROMA) CHILDREN IN SCHOOL;HARMONY -CHRISTIAN MUSIC AND BIBLE STUDY PROGRAM IN A JUVENILE PRISON; MITSPA HOUSE-PROVIDES HOUSING FOR MOTHERS WHO ARE MINORS AND THEIR CHILD AS WELL AS TRAINING IN BOTH SOCIAL AND PARENTING SKILLS FOR MOTHERS OF AT-RISK CHILDREN; ONGOING DISCIPLESHIP AND ENCOURAGEMENT AND A GUIDE TO NECESSARY JOB SKILLS AND ULTIMATE EMPLOYMENT.
