ROADWAY WORKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR POST-HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION TO THE CHILDREN OR SPOUSES OF ROADWAY WORKERS KILLED OR PERMANENTLY DISABLED IN WORK ZONES, INCLUDING MOBILE OPERATIONS AND THE INSTALLATION OF ROADWAY SAFETY FEATURES. SCHOLARSHIPS RANGE FROM $2,000 TO $10,000.
THE NATIONAL WORK ZONE MEMORIAL TRAVELING EXHIBIT:A MEMORIAL WALL INSCRIBED WITH THE NAMES OF ROADWAY WORKERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICIALS, MOTORISTS, AND PASSENGERS KILLED IN WORK ZONES. THE WALL BRINGS INTO SHARPER FOCUS THE SERVICE OF THOSE WHOM LOSE THEIR LIVES IN THE ONGOING EFFORT TO KEEP AMERICA MOVING.
