IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 3/31/2023 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OVER 28,000 PEOPLE IN DICKSON COUNTY WITH VARIOUS ASSISTANCE THROUGH CASH AND NONCASH GRANTS IN THE FORM OF SUCH THINGS AS CLOTHING, FOOD, MEDICAL, TRANSPORTATION, RENT, UTLITIES, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. THEY ARE PART OF THE COUNTY'S DISASTER ACTION PLAN ASSISTING FAMILIES IMPACTED THROUGH DISASTERS ON A LOCAL LEVEL WITH FEMA. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A THRIFT STORE THAT SERVES AN AVERAGE OF 3,500 PATRONS PER MONTH PROVIDING LOW COST GOODS TO INDIGENT FAMILIES AND OTHER PEOPLE IN DICKSON COUNTY AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES.
