EDUCATE CITIZENS TO BE ABLE TO ENGAGE IN DEMOCRATIC DIALOGUE AND CONSENSUS BUILDING AS A MEANS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE STRENGHTHENING OF DEMOCRATIC SYSTEMS IN LATIN AMERICAN AND THE CARIBBEAN.

ALERTA LEGISLATIVA (LEGISLATIVE ALERT) - MONTHLY REPORT ON NORMS AND LAWS THAT OUT OF THE DIFFERENT LEGISLATIVE BODIES OF AMERICAN AND ARE UPDATED MONTHLY. IT WAS POSSIBLE TO INCORPORATE A GREATER NUMBER OF CENTRAL AMERICAN COUNTRIES INTO THE MONTHLY REPORT.


FACILITATING ADVANCMENT OF OGP'S THEMATIC-DESIGN AND DELIVER A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM OF PEER LEARNING AND EXCHANGE, ADVOCACY, NETWORKING AND COALITION BUILDING, AS WELL AS KNOWLEDGE RESOURCES AND TOOLS DEVELOPMENT TO SUPPORT A COALITION OF GOVERNMENTS AND CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS IN FURTHERING OPEN PARLIAMENT REFORMS. THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES AND OUTPUTS THAT BRING TOGETHER INTERNATIONAL ACTORS, SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS, AND GOVERNMENT AND CIVIL SOCIETY PRACTITIONERS FROM MULTIPLE OGP COUNTRIES WORKING ON REFORMS IN THE THEMATIC AREA AT THE COUNTRY AND LOCAL LEVELS. -PROJECT WAS COMPLETED AND FINAL REPORT WAS DELIVERED TO THE DONOR.


JOINING THE DOTS - DEVELOP A PUBLIC PLATFORM AND CROSS CHECKING MECHANISM TO GENERATE RED FLAGS FOR CORRUPTION LINKE TO BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP, POLITICALLY EXPOSED PERSONS AND EXTRACTIVE SECTOR DATA. BUILD CAPACITIES AMONG LOCAL CSO TO FURTHER CONTINUE IMPLEMENTING THIS PROJECT ONCE THE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE. -PREPARATIONS BEGAN TO MAP THE PROJET BY THE END OF 2022.
