TO PROVIDE COMPLETE CARE OF ORPHANED CHILDREN IN ZAMBIA INCLUDING HOUSING, FOOD, SCHOOLING, MEDICAL CARE, CLOTHING AS WELL AS CHRISTIAN NURTURING AND GUIDANCE. LHI GROWS COFFEE TO SELL WHICH HELPS PROVIDE FUNDING. LHI ALSO RAISES FUNDS THROUGH CHILD SPONSORSHIPS, ANNUAL EVENTS, AND GENERAL DONATIONS.

THIS YEAR WE CONDUCTED THREE SIGNIFICANT BUILDING PROJECTS, WHICH INCLUDED A SCHOOL, A DINING HALL WITH KITCHEN, AND BEGAN THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A SOLAR PROJECT WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED TO KEEP A BETTER STREAM OF ELECTRICITY FOR THE LHI CAMPUS.
MONEY IS RAISED AND USED FOR TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR LHI MISSIONARIES. A COUPLE TIMES THIS YEAR INDIVIDUALS TRAVELLED TO AFRICA TO HELP CARE FOR THE CHILDREN, BRING SUPPLIES, AND CONDUCT OTHER LHI BUSINESS. WE ALSO HAVE A MISSIONARY AND HIS FAMILY TO NDOLA FOR A LONG TERM POSITION PROVIDING DISCIPLESHIP AND CHRISTIAN NURTURING TO THE CHILDREN, STAFF, AND NEIGHBORS OF THE LHI CAMPUS.
THE 33 CHILDREN AND HOUSEMOTHERS ARE HOUSED ON THE LHI CAMPUS. THE CHILDREN ARE FED,CLOTHED, PROVIDED MEDICAL CARE, SENT TO SCHOOL, AND NURTURED IN A CHRISTIAN ATMOSPHERE. A BUS IS KEPT AND MAINTAINED TO TRANSFER THE CHILDREN TO AND FROM SCHOOL.
