THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION IS TO SOLICIT MANAGE AND PROVIDE RESOURES TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR ARGYLE ISD STUDENTS

TEACHER SALARY GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO FUND NEW TEACHER SALARIES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH ACCESS TO EDUCATION PROGRAMS THAT OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE. THESE SALARIES ARE ABOVE WHAT IS REQUIRED BY THE STATE, ANNUALLY THE BOARD REVIEWS THE PRIORITIES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT AND DETERMINES WHAT AREAS NEED ENHANCING AND RAISES FUNDS TO PROVIDE A TEACHER THAT IS ABLE TO MEET THOSE NEEDS.


CAMPUS SCHOOL SITE GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO EACH CAMPUS TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES THAT BENEFIT ALL THE STUDENTS AT EACH CAMPUS. GRANT REQUESTS ARE SUBMITTED BY DISTRICT AND CAMPUS ADMINISTARTION. A FOUNDATION COMMITTEE REVIEWS EACH GRANT REQUEST TO ENSURE THEY FALL WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION AND ENRICHMENT GUIDELINES. THE COMMITTEE SUBMITS QUALIFYING GRANTS TO THE BOARD FOR APPROVAL. THE BOARD REVIEWS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS AND BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS AND VOTES ON WHETHER TO APPROVE THE GRANTS.
