THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO SOLICIT, MANAGE, AND PROVIDE RESOURCES TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR ARGYLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS.

TEACHER SALARY GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO FUND NEW TEACHERS SALARIES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH ACCESS TO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE. THESE SALARIES ARE ABOVE WHAT IS REQUIRED BY THE STATE. ANNUALLY THE BOARD REVIEWS THE PRIORITIES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT AND DETERMINES WHAT AREAS NEED ENHANCING AND RAISES FUNDS TO PROVIDE A TEACHER THAT IS ABLE TO MEET THOSE NEEDS.
CAMPUS SCHOOL SITE GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO EACH CAMPUS TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES THAT BENEFIT ALL THE STUDENTS AT EACH CAMPUS. GRANT REQUESTS ARE SUBMITTED BY DISTRICT AND CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION. A FOUNDATION COMMITTEE REVIEWS EACH GRANT REQUEST TO ENSURE THEY FALL WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION AND ENRICHMENT GUIDELINES. THE COMMITTEE SUBMITS QUALIFYING GRANTS TO THE BOARD FOR APPROVAL. THE BOARD REVIEWS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS AND BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS AND VOTES ON WHETHER TO APPROVE THE GRANTS.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO AWARD STUDENTS FOR EXCELLENCE IN SCHOOL. STUDENTS SUBMIT APPLICATIONS TO A FOUNDATION COMMITTEE. THE FOUNDATION COMMITTEE REVIEWS EACH APPLICATION TO ENSURE THEY FALL WITHIN THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION AND ENRICHMENT GUIDELINES. THE COMMITTEE APPOINTS THE NOMINATED WINNER.
