THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS (AROUND 200 MOTHERS AND THEIR DAUGHTERS) TO SERVE THE ATLANTA COMMUNITY THROUGH MOSTLY VOLUNTEER HOURS SERVING VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS AGAPE, MEALS ON WHEELS, RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE, CHOA, PIEDMONT HOSPITIAL, CHASTAIN HORSE PARK, OPERATION GRATITUDE, BUCKHEAD CHRISTIAN MINISTRY, AND OTHERS. THE MAJORITY OF EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE ORGANIZATION ARE FOR GENERAL OPERATIONS SUCH AS MEETINGS AND EVENTS OF ITS MEMBERS, SPEAKERS, AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF CHARITIES SERVED, IT IS DIFFICULT TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF PERSONS BENEFITED BY THE SERVICES OF NATIONAL CHARITY LEAGUE BUCKHEAD.
