VOLUNTEER EAST TENNESSEE SUPPORTED THE VOLUNTEER EFFORTS OF 166 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SERVING 8 COUNTIES IN EAST TENNESSEE. NEARLY 8,000 VOLUNTEER CONNECTIONS WERE MADE THROUGH VOLUNTEER EAST TENNESSEE'S PLATFORM. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO SUPPORT COVID-19 RESPONSE EFFORTS THROUGH THE KNOX COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICE, ASSISTING WITH VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT FOR MOBILE MEALS, TRANSPORTATION, AND FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER NEEDS.
