THE MISSION OF LUOC IS TO COLLABORATE WITH LOW-INCOME IMMIGRANT WORKERS TO DEVELOPTHE TOOLS NECESSARY TO COLLECTIVELY IMPROVE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS. LUOC'SMISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED BY DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP FROM WITHIN THE IMMIGRANT WORKERCOMMUNITY, DEVELOPING FEASIBLE ALTERNATIVES TO THE INJUSTICES IMMIGRANT WORKERS FACE, AND BUILDING THE LARGER MOVEMENT FOR IMMIGRANT WORKER RIGHTS. PROGRAMS CONDUCTED TOWARDS THIS END INCLUDE THE DAY LABOR, WOMEN WORKER, HEALTH, AND IMMIGRANT ACTION.
