MUJERES LATINAS EN ACCION (MUJERES) IS A BILINGUAL / BICULTURAL AGENCY FOUNDED IN 1973 THAT SEEKS TO EMPOWER WOMEN, THEIR FAMILIES AND YOUTH TO BECOME SELF-RELIANT, AND ABLE TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES AND CREATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THEIR LIVES. MUJERES PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES WITH INTEGRATED ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST OUR CONSTITUENTS IN EXPLORING CHOICES, MAKING INFORMED DECISIONS, DEVELOPING SELF-ESTEEM, AND ENHANCING DAILY LIVING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
