THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO USE FUNDS FROM GIFTS, LEGACIES, BEQUESTS, AND GRANTS TO CONSTRUCT HOUSING FOR NEEDY FAMILIES. THE STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE CUMBERLANDS, INC. WILL ALSO BE GRANTED SCHOLARSHIPS FROM THESE FUNDS IN EXCHANGE FOR THEIR LABOR NEEDED TO CONSTRUCT NEW HOUSING AND/OR REPAIR EXISTING HOUSING FOR NEEDY FAMILIES. COUNSELING WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED TO QUALIFYING FAMILIES TO ENABLE THEM TO LEARN HOW TO BETTER CARE FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THEY WILL BE OFFERED EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE SO THAT THEY MAY IMPROVE THEIR STANDARDS OF LIVING.
