HOME REPAIR. REPAIR AND REHABILITIATION OF EXISTING HOMES FOR LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS IN THE FOUR COUNTY AREA OF EASTERN KENTUCKY SERVED BY THE ORGANIZATION.
NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. SITE DEVELOPMENT, CONSTRUCTION, FINANCING OF NEW HOMES FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN THE FOUR COUNTY AREA OF EASTERN KENTUCKY SERVED BY THE ORGANIZATION. HDA STARTED A PAID-ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PROGRAM TO PROVIDE PERSONS IN RECOVERY WITH TRAINING IN ENERGY-EFFICIENT, RESIDENTIAL CONDSTUCTION. TRAINEES WILL BE TRAINED THROUGH CONSTRUCTING MODEST HOMES FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOMEBUYERS.
RENTAL. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RENTAL UNITS TO LOW INCOME TENANTS IN PERRY COUNTY, KENTUCKY.
OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE HEAT SQUAD, VOLUNTEER PROGRAM, AND THE OPERATION OF A REVOLVING LOAN FUND FOR THE REHAB AND NEW HOME CLIENTS.
