THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, SERVICE, AND COMMUNITY ACTIVISM, THE KENTUCKY YMCA YOUTH ASSOCIATION FOSTERS CRITICAL THINKING, LEADERSHIP, AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN TEENS.

THE KENTUCKY YMCA YOUTH ASSOCIATION SERVES AS THE HOME OF KENTUCKY'S YMCA YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. WE PROVIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL, AND COLLEGE STUDENTS ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH WITH YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE LEARNING, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.THE KENTUCKY YMCA YOUTH ASSOCIATION IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING THAT EVERYONE HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN, GROW AND THRIVE. BY PRIORITIZING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, WE SEEK TO ENSURE THAT THE Y IS TRULY FOR ALL A PLACE WHERE ALL PEOPLE FEEL WELCOME AND FULLY ENGAGED AS PARTICIPANTS, MEMBERS, STAFF, AND VOLUNTEERS.THE KENTUCKY YMCA YOUTH ASSOCIATION CURRENTLY SERVES OVER 5,000 TEENS AND 219 SCHOOLS ACROSS 72 COUNTIES, THROUGH PROGRAMS SUPPORTED BY 550 ADULT VOLUNTEERS.
