EDUCATION IS THE CORNERSTONE OF INDIVIDUAL & COMMUNITY SUCCESS. THE UNITED WAY OF ST LUCIE & OKEECHOBEE SUPPORTS 7 PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDE SUBSIDIES TO WORKING FAMILIES FOR QUALITY PRE-K EDUCATION, ONE-ON-ONE READING MENTORS, INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS SPECIFICALLY FOR GIRLS, AND MUCH MORE.
THE UNITED WAY OF ST LUCIE & OKEECHOBEE SUPPORTS 10 PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO ACHIEVE JOB READINESS, PROVIDE NUTRITIONAL MEALS, PROVIDE CLOTHING FOR SCHOOL AND EMPLOYMENT, AND PROVIDE FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND GOAL SETTING SKILLS.
