THIS IS A VETERAN'S ORGANIZATION. ITS PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO VETERANS. IN ADDITION, VARIOUS CIVIC AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE ONGOING MISSION OF THE AMERICAN LEGION: WAR-TIME VETERANS AND MILITARY MEMBERS DEDICATED TO STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY; COMPASSIONATE CARE FOR VETERNAS AND THEIR FAMILIES, COMMUNITY SERVICE, AND THE WHOLESOME DEVELOPMENT OF OUR NATION'S YOUTH.

PROVIDE BREAD FOR THE SOUP KITCHEN OF FT. MYERS AND THE SALVATION ARMY OF FORT MYERS. ASSIST WITH UTILITY BILLS, RENTS AND GAS FOR VETERANS. ASSIST WITH BAIL MONEY FOR VETERANS.
