CAHP'S MEMBERSHIP CALLS AND MEETINGS WERE HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FLORIDA HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION (FHFC) BOARD MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS. CAHP MEMBERS VOTED ON CONSENSUS ITEMS AND PROVIDED FEEDBACK THAT HAVE HELPED TO STREAMLINE THE APPLICATION PROCESS AND PROVIDE MORE STABILITY IN THE FUNDING PROCESS. AN ADVOCATE IN TALLAHASSEE ON BEHALF OF THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING INDUSTRY WAS PROVIDED AND MEMBERS RECEIVED LEGISLATIVE AND INDUSTRY UPDATES AT CAHP MEETINGS. REGULAR UPDATES ON FEDERAL LEGISLATION AND NATIONAL ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE INDUSTRY WERE PROVIDED AND OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN CAHP COMMITTEES THAT BUILD CONSENSUS AND PROVIDE COLLECTIVE FEEDBACK TO THE FHFC TO IMPROVE AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAMS AND POLICIES WERE PROVIDED.
