THE GREATER PENSACOLA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT INCORPORATED ORGANIZATION WHICH STRIVES TO IMPROVE JUNIOR GOLF IN THE PENSACOLA AREA THROUGH ORGANIZED GOLF EVENTS UTILIZING AREA PROFESSIONAL AND AMATEUR GOLFERS TO TEACH THE RULES OF THE GAME OF GOLF. THE ASSOCIATION FOCUSES ON ALL SKILL LEVELS; ALL EVENTS ARE ORGANIZED TO KEEP THE JUNIOR GOLFERS INVOLVED WHILE INSTILLING A STRONG SENSE OF COMPETITION.

INTRODUCE THE GAME OF GOLF TO CHILDREN AGES 5-18 ( APPROXIMATELY 800) THROUGH CLASS INSTRUCTION AND GOLF COURSE INSTRUCTION.
ORGANIZED JUNIOR GOLF EVENT TO TEACH THE RULES OF THE GAME OF GOLF FOCUSING ON ALL SKILL LEVELS WHILE INSTILLING A STRONG SENSE OF COMPETITION (APPROXIMATELY 145 CHILDREN)
THIS PROGRAM OFFERS A 3 DAY TOURNAMENT FOR KIDS 5-18 YEARS OF AGE AT NO COST TO THE JUNIOR GOLFERS. THE TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN IN EXISTANCE FOR OVER 60 YEARS. IT ALSO INCLUDES THE COST OF THE AWARDS BANQUET FOR ALL THE JUNIOR GOLFERS THAT PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT. ( APPROXIMATELY 277 JUNIOR GOLFERS)
THESE ARE EXPENSED FOR RUNNING OTHER GOLF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS LIKE NATIONAL SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND MILITARY AFFILIATE PROGRAMS.
