TO POSITIVELY IMPACT THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE, INCLUDING VETERANS AND THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, BY PROVIDING LEARNING FACILITIES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND LIFE ENHANCING VALUES THROUGH THE GAME OF GOLF.

OPERATED A 12-ACRE GOLF PRACTICE FACILITY AND DELIVERED PROGRAMS AT OVER 25 OTHER LOCATIONS IN PALM BEACH, MARTIN, ST. LUCIE, AND BROWARD COUNTIES PROVIDING GOLF INSTRUCTION TO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE, INCLUDING THOSE WITH DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS AND VETERANS' GROUPS. IN 2020, OUR PARTICIPANTS INCLUDED OVER 2,200 STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS YMCAS, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS AND FAITH BASED ORGANIZATIONS. WE SERVED OVER 500 STUDENTS ATTENDING MULTIPLE SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS AND REGISTERED OVER 150 SUMMER CAMPERS. WE TAUGHT OVER 350 VETERANS HOW TO PLAY GOLF AND PROVIDED MANY WITH GOLF EQUIPMENT AND ACCESS TO LOCAL GOLF COURSES. OVER 50% OF OUR STUDENTS ARE EITHER AFRICAN AMERICAN OR HISPANIC AND COME FROM LOW TO MODERATE INCOME HOUSEHOLDS. THE MAJORITY OF OUR STUDENTS AND GROUPS THAT PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAMS HAVE NO MEANS TO PAY AND WE MUST FUND THE ENTIRE PROGRAM THROUGH DONATIONS TO OUR ORGANIZATION.
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ARE OFFERED TO QUALIFIED AND DEDICATED STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF OUR LOCAL CHAPTERS THROUGH THEIR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS AND ASSIST OUR GOLF COACHING STAFF. CANDIDATES ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A GRANT FOR THEIR COLLEGE RELATED EXPENSES IN PURSUING A FULL-TIME COLLEGE DEGREE PROGRAM AT AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR THE FIRST FOUR YEARS OF THEIR ACADEMIC ATTENDANCE. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE ALLOWED TO BE USED FOR SCHOOL TUITION, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, BOOKS OR DORMITORY HOUSING. THE SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF CANDIDATES AND THE AVAILABLE FUNDING. FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2021 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,672 WERE PROVIDED TO STUDENTS THAT MET STRICT ACADEMIC STANDARDS WHICH ARE APPROVED BY THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE.
