KEEP PINELLAS BEAUTIFUL ENGAGES THOUSANDS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS PER YEAR IN EVENTS THAT IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND BEAUTY OF OUR LOCAL ENVIRONMENT. KPB PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES OF SERVICE FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH OUR EFFORTS. THE PROGRAMS INCLUDE: CLEANUP PROJECTS, ADOPT A MILE PROGRAM AND PICK UP PINELLAS.CLEANUP PROJECTS INCLUDE LARGE GROUP LITTER ABATEMENT INITIATIVES ON PUBLIC LANDS (LOCAL BEACHES, PARKS OR ROADWAYS). ADOPT A MILE PROGRAMS INCLUDE PUBLIC AREAS WITHIN THE COUNTY WHERE SMALL GROUPS MAKE A COMMITMENT TO CLEANUP THAT SAME AREA BETWEEN 4 AND 6 TIMES PER YEAR. PICK UP PINELLAS ARE INDIVIDUALS THAT PICK UP LITTER WITHIN A CERTAIN AREA.
