LCS' LICENSED AND PROFESSIONALLY CERTIFIED THERAPISTS COMPASSIONATELY PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AT SIXTEEN LOCATIONS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY DEAL WITH THE MANY ISSUES THAT HINDER HEALTHY GROWTH IN THEIR LIVES AND RELATIONSHIPS. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES, FAMILIES AND GROUPS OF ALL AGES.
AS A NATIONALLY CREDENTIALED (AAPC.ORG) PASTORAL COUNSELING SERVICE CENTER, LCS PROVIDES CONSULATATION AND COACHING IN A DOZEN DENOMINATIONS FOR A)PASTORAL CAREGIVERS AND FAITH COMMUNITIES, B)SCREENINGS AND ASSESSMENTS OF CANDIDATES FOR ROSTERED MINISTRY AND C)APPROVED TRAINING AND SUPERVISION FOR STATE OF FLORIDA LICENSURES AND/OR MEMBERSHIP IN PROFESSIONAL THERAPY ORGANIZATIONS.
LCS' SCHOOL COUNSELING MINISTRY IS DESIGNED TO PLACE A THERAPIST IN NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE ORLANDO AREA. THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO HELP NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS THRIVE AS THEY MEET THE NEEDS OF DIVERSE POPULATIONS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY OFFERING COUNSELING SERVICES TO STUDENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND FACULTY.
