THE MISSION OF THE MYERS & BRIGGS FOUNDATION IS TO CONTINUE THE PIONEERING WORK OF KATHARINE COOK BRIGGS AND ISABEL BRIGGS MYERS IN THE FIELD OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TYPE, ESPECIALLY THE ETHICAL AND ACCURATE USE OF THE MYERS-BRIGGS TYPE INDICATOR INSTRUMENT. THESE GOALS ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING METHODS:-EXTENDING THE BENEFITS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TYPE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD-EXPANDING THE MBTI THEORY TO ENCOMPASS NEW UNDERSTANDING & RESEARCH-ENCOURAGING THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF TOOLS APPROPRIATE TO THE UNDERSTANDING OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TYPE AS A COMPLEX DYNAMIC SYSTEM-EDUCATING THROUGH THE DISSEMINATION OF APPLICABLE INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO USE PSYCHOLOGICAL TYPE THROUGH TRAINING PROGRAMS, APPLICATION MATERIALS AND RESEARCH

IN ALL AREAS OF ITS NOT-FOR-PROFIT MISSION BUT ESPECIALLY PERTAINING TO EDUCATIONAL TRAINING AND RESEARCH RELATED TO PSYCHOLOGICAL TYPE. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS AN EDUCATIONAL/INFORMATIONAL WEBSITE AND ANSWERS QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ABOUT ETHICAL USE, RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES, AND GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPROPRIATE USE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TYPE.
