BAPTIST HEALTH PROPERTIES, INC. (BHP) OWNS AND MANAGES VARIOUS REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES THAT ARE PRIMARILY LEASED TO VARIOUS HEALTHCARE-RELATED ENTITIES THAT ARE PART OF BAPTIST HEALTH SYSTEM, INC. (BHS), AN EXEMPT 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE HOSPITAL SYSTEM LOCATED IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA, AS WELL AS OTHER 501(C)(3) MEDICAL-RELATED ENTITIES. THESE PROPERTIES INCLUDE MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDINGS WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO BHS'S FIVE HOSPITALS, FREE PARKING LOTS FOR EMPLOYEES AND PATIENTS, AND VACANT LAND FOR FUTURE USE. DURING THE 2021 TAX YEAR, BHP COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION ON THE NEW BAPTIST HEALTHPLACE AT NOCATEE. IN ADDITION, BHP PURCHASED THE FORMER VYSTAR CREDIT UNION BUILDING IN CLAY COUNTY ON JANUARY 6, 2021, AND SUBSEQUENTLY CONVEYED TITLE TO THE PROPERTY TO PAVILION HEALTH SERVICES, INC. (PHS) ON JUNE 23, 2021. BHP PURCHASED 1.8 ACRES OF UNDEVELOPED LAND IN THE BARTRAM WALK WEST COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN ST. JOHNS COUNTY ON APRIL 13, 2021, AND SUBSEQUENTLY CONVEYED TITLE TO THE PROPERTY TO PHS ON JULY 6, 2021. BHP PURCHASED 8.5 ACRES OF UNDEVELOPED LAND IN ST. AUGUSTINE CENTRE IN ST. JOHNS COUNTY ON MAY 25, 2021.
