RODEO EVENT EXPENSES CONSIST OF AMOUNTS PAID TO HOST THE RODEO AND TRAVEL EXPENSES TO SEND CONTESTANTS TO THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL RODEO FINALS.
AWARDS-WEEKEND AVERGE WINNER BUCKLES GIVEN AT EACH RODEO TO REWARD PARTICIPANTS FOR THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT EACH RODEO. AWARDS ARE GIVEN AT THE STATE FINALS BANQUET. THE TOP 15 POINT RECIPIENTS IN EACH EVENT QUALIFY FOR THE STATE FINALS. NUMEROUS PRIZES AND AWARDS ARE GIVEN INCLUDING A TROPHY SADDLE FOR EACH EVENT WINNER AS WELL AS A BUCKLE FOR EACH QUALIFIER.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO PARTICIPANTS TO ENCOURAGE CONTINUATION OF THEIR EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION IN THE SPORT OF RODEO AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. ALL GRADUATING SENIORS PLANNING TO ATTEND COLLEGE OR TRADE SCHOOL ARE ELIGABLE TO APPLY. THE APPLICATION PROCESS REQUIRES THE COMPLETION OF A SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FOLLOWED BY AN INTERVIEW BEFORE A PANEL OF DISTINGUISHED JUDGES.
