EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS - THE SOCIETY HOLDS TWO ANNUAL MEETINGS. ONE OF THE MEETINGS PROVIDES CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR ITS MEMBERS. THE MEETINGS ARE HELD ONCE IN THE SUMMER AND ONCE IN THE WINTER. THE MEETINGS ALLOW THE MEMBERS TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION AND EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS WHICH ARE REQUIRED UNDER STATE LAW. IN ADDITION, THE SOCIETY HELD 17 LOCAL AFFILIATE MEETINGS THAT ALSO PROVIDED CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS. THE EXPLORER - THE EXPLORER IS THE SOCIETY'S NEWSLETTER WHICH IS PUBLISHED FOUR TIMES PER YEAR TO INFORM ITS MEMBERS OF SOCIETY NEWS ITEMS. REFERRAL PROGRAMS - THE SOCIETY ALSO PROVIDES A REFERRAL SERVICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
