THIS SOCIETY SHALL REPRESENT THE PHYSICIANS PRACTICING RHEUMATOLOGY IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND WILL FURTHER THE GOALS OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF RHEUMATOLOGY AND PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS.

PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR THE PRACTICING RHEUMATOLOGIST, THE PRACTICING PHYSICIAN IN OTHER SPECIALTIES, PARAMEDICAL PERSONNEL, THE PATIENTS AND THE COMMUNITY. CONTINUING EDUCATION IS PROVIDED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ANNUAL MEETING.
ACTIVELY MONITOR THE ECONOMIC ISSUES THAT IMPACT THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE BY GOING TO TALLAHASSEE TO BOTH VISIT WITH LEGISLATORS AND TESTIFY DURING SESSIONS.
REPRESENT THE PROFESSION OF RHEUMATOLOGY IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH GOVERNMENTAL AND PRIVATE THIRD PARTY PAYORS THROUGH MEETINGS AND CONFERENCE CALLS.
