THE FOUNDATION AWARDED 71 GRANTS TO VARIOUS HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES THAT WORK TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF HEALTH, HUNGER, HOUSING AND EDUCATION TO BE USED PRIMARILY FOR CAPITAL NEEDS.
THE FOUNDATION'S RIVIERA BEACH LITERACY PROJECT PROVIDED LITERACY SUPPORT, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COACHING AT EACH OF THE FOUR PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN RIVIERA BEACH.
THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE RIVIERA BEACH HEALTH INITIATIVE WHICH SEEKS TO BUILD HEALTHCARE SERVICES CAPACITY, HEALTH LITERACY AND NAVIGATION SERVICES TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE HEALTH OUTCOMES FOR ALL RESIDENTS.
