FLGISA IS THE FLORIDA LOCAL GOVERNMENT SOURCE FOR LEADERSHIP, INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION IN TECHNOLOGY. IT'S MISSION IS TO ASSIST AND EDUCATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT TECHNOLOGY LEADERS TO COLLABORATE, INNOVATE AND COMMUNICATE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES SERVED.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE - THE 2021 ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN-PERSON THIS YEAR IN JULY. THE CONFERENCE OFFERED UP TO 15 HOURS OF CEU CREDITS AVAILABLE IN MULTIPLE BREAKOUT SESSIONS. THE CONFERENCE ALSO PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR ATTENDEES TO NETWORK WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT TECHNOLOGY LEADERS, LEARN ABOUT THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY AND SECURITY TRENDS, AND A CHANCE TO VISIT THE TECHNOLOGY PAVILION. A TOTAL OF 150 REGISTRANTS ATTENDED THIS YEAR'S CONFERENCE.
WINTER SYMPOSIUM - THE 2021 WINTER SYMPOSIUM WAS HELD VIRTUALLY THIS YEAR IN MARCH. WEBINAR SESSIONS WERE OFFERED OVER THE COURSE OF THREE DAYS AND INCLUDED A TOTAL OF UP TO 10 HOURS OF CEU CREDITS. SOME OF THE TOPICS COVERED IN THIS YEAR'S SYMPOSIUM INCLUDED WINNING PRACTICES IN BUSINESS & LIFE, COMMUNICATING IN A REMOTE WORLD, RESPONDING WHEN A VENDOR IS BREACHED, AND ASSOCIATION UPDATES AND MULTIPLE ROUNDTABLES. A TOTAL OF 129 REGISTRANTS PARTICIPATED IN THIS YEAR'S SYMPOSIUM.
CYBERSECURITY WEBINAR - THE FLGISA PRODUCED A WEBINAR IN OCTOBER COVERING THE TOPIC OF CYBERSECURITY. THIS WEBINAR DISCUSSED IN DETAIL AND PROVIDED ROUNDTABLE SESSIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS TO SHARE QUESTIONS, CONCERNS AND INSIGHTS TO RESPONDING TO A COMPROMISE WITH THIRD-PARTY ERP SYSTEMS. A TOTAL OF 49 REGISTRANTS PARTICIPATED IN THE CYBERSECURITY WEBINAR.
