CONDUCTED OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER WALK N ROLL ON NOVEMBER 6TH. THIS EVENT WAS CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS AND INCLUDED BOTH A VIRTUAL WALKING PATH AND A CANOE TRIP THROUGH LOCAL NATURE SITES WITH INTERACTIVE STOPS ALONG THE WAY AND FEATURING SPONSORS ON THE PATH/RIDE.
AS A PRELUDE/KICK-OFF TO THE WALK N ROLL, WE HELD A POOL PARTY ON SEPT. 11TH AT THE WINTER PARK COMMUNITY CENTER WITH FOOD, MUSIC, AND SWIMMING.
COMPLETED A VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AUGUST 21ST ON TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD WHICH PROVIDED AN INSPIRED, PRACTICAL, AND MOTIVATING LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ATTENDEES WITH PRESENTATIONS FOR PARENTS, TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS. THIS INTERACTIVE PROGRAM PROVIDED VITAL INFORMATION ON MEDICAL AND PSYCHOSOCIAL ISSUES ABOUT LIVING WELL WITH SPINA BIFIDA.
