MIVFD IS A VOLUNTEER DEPARTMENT, STATIONED AT BREVARD COUNTY FIRE RESCUE (BCFR) STATION 41. OUR STATION IS MANNED WITH CAREER PERSONNEL 24 HOUR A DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK. WE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES AND MANPOWER TO BCFR AS A SECONDARY RESPONSE UNIT. FOR MORE THAN 61 YEARS, OUR DEPARTMENT HAS CARRIED OUT ITS MISSION OF PROVIDING HARD-WORKING PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS, DEDICATED TO THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICE.
