TO BE OF SERVICE TO VETERANS OF ALL US MILITARY BRANCHES BY PROVIDING MORAL, MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT. WE SUPPORT LEGISLATION THAT BENEFITS VETERANS FOR VETS, THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDENTS AND TO SUPPORT THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION'S EFFORTS TO TREAT VETERANS DISABLED BY SERVICE-RELATED ACTIVITIES. WE ARE APOLITICAL BUT OFFER OPPORTUNITIES TO PUBLIC OFFICIALS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT OUR NEEDS, WE SUPPORT CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS JR. ROTC, ESSAY CONTESTS WITH CASH PRIZES, WE PROVIDE FUNERAL SERVICES AS WELL.

HONOR GUARD SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO A VET'S FAMILY ON DEATH OF A VETERAN, VET'S SPOUSE. WE PROVIDE CASKET FLAGS AND MEANINGFUL MEMENTOS FOR SURVIVORS. THESE SERVICES ARE AT NO CHARGE TO ANYONE QUALIFIED TO RECEIVE THEM. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT OUR LOCAL NATIONAL CEMETERY, CHURCHES, SYNAGOGUES, AND SCHOOLS. WE ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN OUR OWN PROGRAM TO COLLECT, PURCHASE GOODS FOR AND PACKAGE AND MAIL PERSONAL ITEMS ("CARE PACKAGES") IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR AUXILIARY. WE PROVIDE UNIFORMS FOR OUR HONOR GUARD WHICH ARE NECESSARY TO PROVIDE A LEGITIMATE IMAGE AND DUE RESPECT FOR THE DECEASED. THE HONOR GUARD ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO LOCAL SCHOOLS, INCLUDING HISTORICAL, AND PATRIOTIC THEMES, VISITS TO NURSING HOMES AND HOSPITALS AS WELL AS HOME VISITS. OUR SERVICE OFFICER ASSISTS VETS WITH THE COMPLEXITIES OF FILING FOR BENEFITS AND EDUCATIONAL ALLOWANCES.
WE PROVIDE FUNDING THROUGH FUND RAISERS AND OTHER AMUSEMENT DONATIONS FOR FT. MCCOY HOME FOR VETERANS (FLORIDA ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. WE PROVIDE SERVICES THROUGH VISITS TO VA HOSPITAL FACILITIES, HOME VISITS, (INCLUDING MINOR REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE) WE PROVIDE VENUES FOR STUDENT INVOLVEMENT IN ESSAY CONTESTS, FROM ELEMENTARY THRU HIGH SCHOOL, WITH SCHOLARSHIPS AND PUBLIC HONORS, WE SUPPORT ANNUAL AWARD PROGRAM(S) FOR PEACE OFFICERS, FIRE FIGHTERS/PARAMEDICS, TEACHERS AND OTHERS.
WE HAVE ACTIVELY AND HAVE OFFICIALLY ADOPTED OUR LOCAL NATIONAL GUARD UNIT. WE PROVIDE FOOD AND SERVICE OF DINNERS SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR SUCH AS THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS (FOR AN AVERAGE OF 250 PEOPLE) AND FAMILIES OF THOSE SERVICEMEMBERS DEPLOYED. WE PROVIDE FUNDING FOR MEMBERS AND DEPENDENTS FOR NORMAL MONTHLY EXPENSES SUCH A S UTILITIES AND FOOD SHORTAGES. WE PROVIDE SPACE AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT FOR TOYS FOR TOTS PROGRAM DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, WE DELIVERED OVER 500 GIFTS TO CHILDREN WHOSE PARENTS FAILED TO PICK UP GIFTS AT THE APPOINTED TIMES. MANY OF THESE GIFTS WERE DELIVERED CHRISTMAS EVE. AS THESE ITEMS ARE ALL VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES.
