THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF SILVER SPURS CLUB, INC. IS THE PRODUCTION OF RODEOS. SILVER SPURS IS THE LARGEST RODEO EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI AND IS ANNUALLY RANKED AMONG THE TOP 50 EVENTS SANCTIONED BY THE PROFESSIONAL RODEO COWBOYS ASSOCIATION. PRESENTLY, THE SILVER SPURS CLUB HAS 450 MEMBERS, OF WHICH 45 ARE CLUB FOUNDERS AND MANY ARE STILL PERFORMING IMPORTANT ROLES IN THE CLUB AND THE COMMUNITY. ALTHOUGH THE RODEO HAS GROWN INTO A LARGE BUSINSESS AS ONE OF OSCEOLA COUNTY'S PREMIER EVENTS, THE WORK CONTINUES TO BE DONE BY CLUB MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND VOLUNTEERS. THE SILVER SPURS RIDING CLUB, ALONG WITH ITS UNCOMPROMISING LOVE OF ANIMALS, LAND, AND THE OUTDOORS, IS PRESERVING AN AMERICAN TRADITION THAT HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN FOR GENERATIONS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCED TWO EVENTS IN FEBRUARY 2021, WITH AN AVERAGE ATTENDANCE OF 6,000 PER RODEO OVER THREE DAYS AND A TWO DAY RODEO IN JUNE 2021. SILVER SPURS AWARDED A $1000 SCHOLARSHIP TO A MISS SILVER SPURS CONTESTANT AND A $2,000 SCHOLARSHIP TO OSCEOLA COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION. ADDITIONALLY, SPURS MEMBERS VOLUNTEER AT DIFFERENT COMMUNITY EVENTS WITH THEIR TIME & LABOR.
