THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION ARE TO ADVANCE THE SCIENCE AND ART OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE AND SURGERY, AND TO EXTEND IMPROVED HEALTHCARE AND BENEIFITS OF SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENT IN THE TREATMENT, PREVENTION, AND ALLEVITATION OF HUMAN AILMENTS TO THE PUBIC IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

THE PRIMARY ACHIEVEMENT OF THE CONVENTION WAS PROVIDING QUALITY CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION BY INTRODUCING CURRENT TRENDS IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF VARIOUS PATHLOGICAL PROCESSES AND OTHER ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE PRACTICE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING ATTENDEES OPPORTUNITIES FOR NETWORKING MEDICAL, BUSINESS, AND SOCIAL ISSUES CONCERNING THE PRACTICE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE.


THE PRIMARY ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE SEMINAR WERE PROVIDING CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION,ADVANCING THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES OF ATTENDEES, IMPROVING MEDICAL CARE FOR PATIENTS, AND ADVANCING OSTEOPATHIC MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE.
