SOUTH FLORIDA COUNCIL, BSA EXISTS TODAY TO SERVE OTHERS BY HELPINGINSTILL VALUES IN YOUNG PEOPLE & PREPARE THEM TO MAKE ETHICALCHOICES DURING THEIR LIFETIME & ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS RECEIVE NATIONAL CHARTERS TO USE THESCOUTING PROGRAM AS PART OF THEIR OWN YOUTH WORK. OVER 216 OFTHESE LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS WHO HAVE GOALS COMPATIBLE WITH THE BSAHAVE PARTNERED WITH US TO DELIVER SCOUTING. THESE ORGANIZATIONSINCLUDE RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, CIVIC, FRATERNAL, BUSINESS &LABOR, GOVERNMENTS, CORPORATIONS, PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS &CITIZEN'S GROUPS. THE LEARNING FOR LIFE PROGRAM UTILIZES PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO PREPARE YOUTH FOR THE COMPLEXITIES OF SOCIETY AND TO ENHANCE THEIR SELF-CONFIDENCE, MOTIVATION, AND SELF-ESTEEM. MORE THAN 20,000 YOUTH PARTICIPATE IN THE LEARNING FOR LIFE PROGRAMS.
