THROUGH INNOVATIVE APPROACHES, SIGSBEE CHARTER SCHOOL INSPIRES CRITICAL THINKING AND PROMOTES EMPATHY, FOCUSING ON THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF THE MILITARY CHILD. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDE EACH CHILD WITH OPPORTUNITIES AND SKILL SETS TO REALIZE HIS OR HER FULLEST PORTENTIAL. WE AIM TO INSPIRE AND EMPOWER STUDENTS TO BECOME LIFELONG LEARNERS WHO MEET HIGH ACADEMIC STANDARDS AND DEMONSTRATE RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP.

Part 3 - Line 4a

INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES: TO PROVIDE CHILDREN FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH EIGHTH GRADEAN EDUCATION BY CAPTIVATING STUDENTS THROUGH MARINE-SCIENCE, ENVIORNMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT CAPITALIZES ON THE LOCAL MARINE SANCTUARY. THE CURRICULUM OFFERS INTEGRATED STUDIES THAT ENGAGE STUDENTS WITH THE ENVIORNMENT THROUGH LOCAL FIELD TRIPS AND INQUIRY PROJECTS. OUR SCIENCE PROGRAM IS ROOTED IN BACKWARD CURRICULUM DESIGN. OUR LITERACY PROGRAM FOLLOWS A BALANCED LITERACY APPROACH. MATH ISTRUCTION IS CRAFTED AROUND THE MATHEMATICAL PRACTICES. STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN EXPLORATORY CULTURAL ARTS PROGRAMS ON A DAILY BASIS, INCLUDING MUSIC, ART, TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION. THE ORGANIZATION SERVED APPROXIMATELY 543 STUDENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2024.
