THE "TRADITIONAL SCOUTING PROGRAM" PROVIDES A PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE THAT BUILDS CHARACTER, TRAINS THEM IN THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTICIPATING CITIZENSHIP, AND DEVELOPS PERSONAL FITNESS. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR, THE "TRADITIONAL SCOUTING PROGRAM" REACHED 10,716 YOUTHS IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA.
THE "SCOUTREACH PROGRAM" IS CONDUCTED FOR THE BENEFIT OF AT-RISK YOUTH. SCOUT LEADERS ARE HIRED TO CONDUCT MEETINGS TEACHING SKILLS AND BUILDING CHARACTER. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR, THE "SCOUTREACH PROGRAM" HELPED 3,453 YOUTHS IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA.
