FLORIDA TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS - THIS PROGRAM IS ONE OF THE ASSOCIATION'S MOST RECOGNIZED SAFETY-ORIENTED EDUCATIONAL EVENTS. THIS ANNUAL EVENT PROVIDES FTA'S BEST TRUCK DRIVERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF SAFE DRIVING PRACTICES AND THEIR SKILLS IN HANDLING DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES. MORE THAN 285 PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVERS, WHO HAVE AN ACCIDENT FREE RECORD FOR ONE YEAR, COMPETED IN THE 2023 FLORIDA TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS. OUT OF ALL THE COMPETITORS, ONE TOP WINNER IS RECOGNIZED WITH THE GRAND CHAMPION AWARD.
FTA FALL ROUND-UP - THIS ONE-DAY MEETING PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS COVERING SAFETY ISSUES, REGULATORY UPDATES, LEGAL UPDATES, AND TECHNICAL TRAINING FOR FTA MEMBERS IN A PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING ENVIRONMENT.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE - THIS EVENT IS THE LARGEST AND MOST PROMINENT EDUCATIONAL FORUM HELD BY THE ASSOCIATION ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. THE CONFERENCE PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR MORE THAN 500 LEADERS FROM FLORIDA'S TRUCKING INDUSTRY TO ASSEMBLE AND LEARN ABOUT IMPORTANT ISSUES AFFECTING FLORIDA'S TRUCKING AND TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY. THE MISSION OF THE CONFERENCE IS TO RECHARGE THE MEMBERS AND HELP THEM PREPARE TO MEET THE MANY CHALLENGES, AS WELL AS OPPORTUNITIES, THAT LIE AHEAD FOR THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY.
SAFETY MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (SMC) - THE MISSION OF FLORIDA TRUCKING ASSOCIATION'S SAFETY MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (SMC) IS TO PROMOTE SAFETY WITHIN AND BEYOND FLORIDA'S MOTOR CARRIER INDUSTRY BY CREATING A FORUM FOR SAFETY PROFESSIONALS TO NETWORK, SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES, AND HOST EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS.
