ROTARY CLUB OPERATIONS: THE ROTARY CLUB OF BUCKHEAD IS ONE OF THE LARGER CLUBS IN THE ATLANTA METRO AREA. THE CLUB IS FOCUSED ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH AND DISEASE, YOUTH AND EDUCATION, AND INTERNATIONAL SERVICE. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, THE CLUB'S TOTAL MEMBERSHIP WAS 151, AND AT THE END OF THE YEAR IT WAS 142.
YOUTH SERVICES: ROTARY CLUB OF BUCKHEAD SPONSORS MULTIPLE EVENTS DURING THE YEAR. FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 YEARS, THE CLUB HAS SPONSORED AN ANNUAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT. YOUTH TEAMS FROM ALL OVER THE SOUTHEAST PARTICIPATE IN THE SPRING TOURNAMENT. IT SERVES AS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO PROMOTE YOUTH SPORTS. DURING THE YEAR, THE TOP 8 DIVISION A HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS COMPETED IN THE ANNUAL TOURNAMENT.
