THE ASSOCIATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR ITS MEMBERS. THIS INCLUDES PRE-LICENSING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION. THE GROUP ALSO WORKS WITH GROUPS WHO COME IN CONTACT WITH BAIL AGENTS INCLUDING JUDGES, PROSECUTORS, COURT CLERKS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT. THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND ASSIST THESE GROUPS SO THAT THERE IS A BETTER WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH BAIL AGENTS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

EDUCATION WAS PROVIDED TO MEMBERS, INCLUDING PRE-LICENSING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION. MEETINGS WERE HELD WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION AND THE WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM. THE MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE WAS LOBBIED TO IMPROVE EXISTING LAW AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW LAWS FOR BAIL AGENTS.
