HASC'S VISION IS TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF AREA RESIDENTS WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY.

HAMILTON AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER, INC. (HASC) PROVIDES AMBULATORY SURGICAL SERVICES TO THE CITY OF DALTON, WHITFIELD COUNTY, AND SURROUNDING AREAS OF NORTHWEST GEORGIA. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2021, HASC PERFORMED 5,434 SURGICAL PROCEDURES. HASC'S MISSION IS TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF AREA RESIDENTS WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION AND REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY. THUS, HASC PROVIDED $334,925 IN CHARITY CARE AT ESTABLISHED RATES FOR PATIENTS UNABLE TO PAY FOR THEIR HEALTH CARE SERVICES DURING THE YEAR. IN ADDITION, CHARGES OF $18,570,402 WERE NOT COLLECTED DUE TO SHORTFALLS FROM MEDICARE AND MEDICAID.
