RESOURCE PROTECTION: THE GOAL OF THE ENDANGERED PROPERTIES PROGRAM IS TO SECURE ENDANGERED PROPERTIES, STABILIZE THEM, AND THEN MARKET THEM TO A CONSERVATION BUYER WHO WILL AGREE TO REHAB THE BUILDING TO CERTAIN STANDARDS. CONTINUED PROGRAM RAISE FUNDS AND AWARENESS AND IDENTIFYING APPLICABLE PROPERTIES.
EDUCATION & ADVOCACY: THE CONSERVANCY HOSTS A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AND CONTINUED THE JUNIOR CONSERVANCY PROGRAM.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE & COMMUNICATION: THE CONSERVANCY WORKS CLOSELY WITH LAND DEVELOPERS, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, AND THE PUBLIC CONCERNING LAND USE PLANNING IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE NATURAL, AGRICULTURAL, AND HISTORIC RESOURCES THAT ARE THE BASIS FOR OUR TWO LARGEST INDUSTRIES OF AGRICULTURE AND TOURISM, WHILE ALLOWING FOR BOTH SMART DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH.
