ADMINISTRATES THE CACFP (CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM) WHICH REIMBURSES CHILD CARE CENTERS AND ADULT DAY CARE CENTERS FOR THE MONEY THAT THESE CENTERS PAY FOR FOOD. THESE REIMBURSABLE MEALS ARE PROVIDED TO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18 AND ADULTS WHO ARE FUNCTIONALLY IMPAIRED OR 60 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER IN A DAY CARE SETTING. THIS PROGRAM ENSURES THAT CHILDREN AND ADULTS THROUGHOUT GEORGIA HAVE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS MEALS WHILE THEY ARE IN A DAYCARE SETTING BY OFFSETTING MUCH OF THE FOOD COST OF THE FACILITY WHILE EDUCATING THE CENTER STAFF ABOUT DAILY NUTRITIONAL GUIDELINES. YOUTH EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC. PROVIDES THESE FUNDS TO CENTERS UNDER THEIR SPONSORSHIP ON A MONTHLY BASIS VIA A GRANT ADMINISTERED BY BRIGHT FROM THE START. Y.E.S. INC.
