THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE PROGRAM: HELPS DIAGNOSE HARMFUL SOCIAL NORMS AND PRACTICES, AND IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES TO REPLACE THOSE HARMFUL PRACTICES. IT ALSO UTILIZED TO COLLECT, ANALYZE, AND SYNTHESIZE EVIDENCE-BASED DATA IN COORDINATING PRIMARY PREVENTION STRATEGIES CRITICAL TO THE WELL-BEING, HEALTH, AND SAFETY OF THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE CREATION OF A MULTI-SECTORAL COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE. WE ALSO PROVIDED TRAUMA-INFORMED SUPPORTIVE SERVICES EMPHASIZING PREVENTION, HARM REDUCTION, MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION, SCREENING FOR TRAUMA EXPOSURE AND RELATED SYMPTOMS
