THE DELTA AIR TRANSPORT HERITAGE MUSEUM, INC. (THE "MUSEUM") IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION. THE PURPOSE OF THE MUSEUM IS TO ALLOW VISITORS FROM AROUND THE WORLD TO LEARN AND EXPLORE AIR TRANSPORT HISTORY, CELEBRATE THE STORY OF PEOPLE OF DELTA, AND DISCOVER THE FUTURE OF FLIGHT. THE MUSEUM ACQUIRES, RESTORES AND DISPLAYS VINTAGE AND HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT AS WELL AS MODELS AND EXHIBITS TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC.

PROMOTED, EXPLORED, CELEBRATED AND EDUCATED THE PUBLIC BY WELCOMING OVER 27K VISITORS AND ATTENDEES TO THE MUSEUM IN 2021. IN MARCH 2020, THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC FORCED THE SUSPENSION OF MOST ONSITE ACTIVITIES AND THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON PERFORMING ITS MISSION DIGITALLY AND REMOTELY. IN 2020, THE MUSEUM USED ITS FACILITIES AS A COVID-19 TESTING FACILITY FOLLOWED IN 2021 BY A MASS VACCINATION SITE FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN JULY 2021 REOPENED ITS DOORS UNDER ITS ORIGINAL MISSION AS A REGULAR OPERATING MUSEUM FOR THE PUBLIC.
