NCCHR: OPERATES THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS (NCCHR), A MUSEUM IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA, THAT PROVIDES ATTRACTIONS AND EXHIBITS THAT CONNECT THE AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT TO TODAY'S GLOBAL HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENTS. IT IS MOST RENOWNED FOR ITS EXHIBIT OF PERSONAL PAPERS AND ITEMS OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. FROM THE MOREHOUSE COLLEGE MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. COLLECTION.
TRUTH AND TRANSFORMATION: THE TRUTH AND TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVE IS DEDICATED TO TEACHING A MORE COMPLETE AND INCLUSIVE ACCOUNT OF THE PAST, ONE THAT HELPS COMMUNITIES UNDERSTAND HOW WE REACHED THE PRESENT-WITH ITS CONFLICTS, OPPORTUNITIES AND URGENT NEEDS.
