SOMA'S MAIN ACTIVITY IS THE PRODUCTION OF AT LEAST ONE MEDICAL CONFERENCE TO BE HELD ANNUALLY, WHICH IS TYPICALLY THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS MEDICAL SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLY (SOMSA). THE SOMSA IS FOR ALL MILITARY MEMBERS AND QUALIFIED CIVILIAN PROVIDERS INTERESTED IN SPECIAL OPERATIONS AND TACTICAL MEDICINE AND INVITED GUESTS.
MEMBERSHIP DUES COLLECTED FOR FUNDING OF PROGRAM ACTIVITIES; OTHER MISCELLANEOUS REVENUE; SALES OF SOMA GEARSCHOLARSHIP PAYMENTS MADE THRU SOMA'S SET ASIDE NET ASSETS FOR SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING
