THE ASSOCIATION IS A PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO THE PROPAGATION OF THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF MEDICAL PRACTICE AND TO THE DISCOVERY AND DISSEMINATION OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION.
