FACILITATE COLLABORATION FOR EDUCATION EXCELLENCE BY PROVIDING FREE CLASSROOM SUPPLIES TO TEACHERS OF WINSTON SALEM FORSYTH COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM, AWARDING GRANTS TO SCHOOLS WITH TEACHERS WITH INNOVATIVE IDEAS AND PUBLICLY RECOGNIZING FIRST YEAR TEACHERS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

EDUCATOR WAREHOUSE COLLECTS DONATIONS OF OFFICE AND CLASSROOM SUPPLIES AND DISTRIBUTES THEM TO EDUCATORS FOR FREE IN THE WINSTON SALEM FORSYTH COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM. A POINT SYSTEM IS USED TO FAIRLY ALLOCATE SUPPLIES TO TEACHERS THAT VISIT THE WAREHOUSE. THE EDUCATOR WAREHOUSE USES A VACANT POD PROVIDED BY THE WINSTON SALEM SCHOOL SYSTEM FOR WAREHOUSING & DISTRIBUTION OF SUPPLIES.


FORSYTH EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP, IN CONJUNCTION WITH WINSTON SALEM FORSYTH COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM, HELD A POET LAUREATE COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS. IT IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS TO FINE TUNE THEIR SKILLS WHILE REWARDING THEM FOR THEIR WRITTEN, SPOKEN-WORD AND CREATIVE ABILITIES.
