THE HIGH POINT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WORKS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE GREATER HIGH POINT COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING CHARITABLE SERVICES TO DONORS TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR CHARITABLE GOALS, AND BY MAKING GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TO FUND INITIATIVES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY.

THE HIGH POINT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION'S MAIN PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. TO THAT END, IN THIS FISCAL YEAR THE ANNUAL GRANTS PROGRAM GRANTED OVER $450,000. THE HEART OF HIGH POINT INITIATIVE FUND GRANTED OVER $100,000 TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS FOR EMERGENCIES THAT MIGHT SHUT DOWN OPERATIONS. THE WOMEN'S FUND OF HIGH POINT AWARDED GRANTS TOTALING $40,000 TO NONPROFITS SPECIFICALLY BENEFITING WOMEN IN THE GREATER HIGH POINT COMMUNTIY. THE WOMEN'S FUND IS A RECENT GRANTOR FOR THE FOUNDATION. THE HPCF ALSO MAINTAINS DONOR ADVISED FUNDS THROUGH WHICH $8,069,531 WAS GRANTED TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS BOTH LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY.
